Connect once on claude.ai, and Claude can use your notes in the desktop app and on your phone too.
Remember a decision, with the reason
Claude writes it in the note where it belongs, in your words, so you find it later without asking Claude.
Ask about a plan from your phone
The plan you made with Claude on your computer is a note. On your phone, Claude reads it before it answers.
Do a weekly review that stays written down
Claude reads the week's notes and writes the review as a new note. Next Friday it starts from that one.
Why notes work as Claude's memory
Claude's built-in memory is useful for context about you: your job, the tone you like. It lives in Claude's settings, in Claude's words, and only Claude reads it.
A note holds the whole thing, such as a trip plan with a table of restaurants, or the reasons behind a decision. You read it on your Mac, you correct a wrong line yourself, and ChatGPT or Claude Code can read the same note.
Pinto Notes is listed in Claude's connector directory. Choose Connect to Claude, sign in, then approve it on your Mac or iPhone. It works on every Claude plan; the free plan includes one custom connector.
Questions
Does Claude's own memory still work if I connect my notes?
Yes. Connecting Pinto Notes doesn't change Claude's memory setting. Claude keeps its short memory of you, and reads your notes when a question needs them.
Can I stop Claude from changing my notes?
Yes. When you approve Claude, choose read only. You can switch later by disconnecting Claude in Settings and connecting it again.
Will Claude use my notes in Claude Code too?
If you use the same Claude account, Claude Code may already list Pinto Notes as a connector. Otherwise one command adds it, with a token of its own.
